Technology can help you to find time, and manage your time
I've always been a productivity junkie. I think that's why I fell in love with computers -- they save so much time. When my first computer, the Apple IIe, entered my life, I was thrilled: I no longer needed to buy correction tape for my IBM Selectric typewriter. I could delete entire words at a keystroke, and move text around without retyping many pages.
My typescripts were always messy in my pre-computer years. I spent a fortune on Liquid Paper correction fluid. My pages featured heavily slashed-out words: often four to a page. If there were more than four, I grudgingly retyped the page. They also featured insertions: words, and often whole sentences. I pity my poor editors, and admire their patience.
I encourage you to make the best use of your computer, and to find programs which will help you to find time, and to organize the time you have. Consider mind mapping programs, as well as cloud-based applications like
Evernote and
Dropbox, which allow you to take your writing with you, and access your files on any computer.
I wish you much success with your writing. Enjoy
